I offer several types of support:
Adult and Child Counseling available.
I offer a unique blend of non-judgmental approach integrating my interest in relational neuroscience, attachment family systems, and skills in listening, creativity, and genuineness. I will work collaboratively with you to help you understand your own emotions, take other perspective, develop boundaries, self-awareness, confidence, and healthier ways to handle the challenges you are facing.
I use a client-centered approach and believe that the relationship between the client and the therapist is a main component of successful counseling.
Family coaching towards reunification: Relationships can be restored.
With 25 years of experience working with families, I can help parents and children (or adult children) who have been estranged or distant. Parent and child who have been affected by Attachment disruption or alienation need special care and are treated given the specific needs of the family, child and case with rebuilding attachment as a goal. I have been trained through Amy Baker, Restoring Family Connections.
Per requirements of the State of Washington, I meet regularly with a clinical consultant and have accrued hours for my mental health counselor licensure.
